Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how The Money Pocket ("we," "our," or "us"), published by Kevin Valopouloss, collects, uses, and protects information when you visit themoneypocket.com. We are committed to being transparent about our data practices.

Calculators run in your browser. We do not need your income, filing status, or other financial inputs to compute a result, and we do not store those inputs on our servers.

Information We Collect

Calculators, articles, topic hubs, and the site footer may offer an optional form so you can get an email when tax rules, contribution limits, or calculators change. Results and articles are never hidden behind this form.

If you submit an email:

We send it to our lead webhook, tagged with the page and topic you were on, so we can send those updates
We store a copy in your browser (localStorage) so you are not asked again on later visits
If you choose “No thanks,” we store a dismiss timestamp in your browser so the form stays hidden for 30 days
We do not require an account, password, or name

You can clear the stored email or dismiss flag by deleting site data in your browser. To request deletion of an email we received through this form, contact us at the address below.

Analytics

We use Rybbit, a first-party analytics script, to understand aggregate usage (pages viewed, calculator events such as an email opt-in). This helps us improve the site. Analytics is not used to sell a profile of you.

Advertising

The site displays ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may collect device, cookie, and interaction data to serve and measure ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ad Settings. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Advertising inquiries

If you submit the advertise form, we collect company name, website, work email, optional WhatsApp number, and an optional message so we can respond to your request. We do not sell that information.

What we do not collect from calculators

Your calculator inputs (income, deductions, filing status, and similar fields) are processed in your browser. We do not transmit those values to our servers as part of the calculation.

How We Use Information

Email: optional updates when rules, limits, or calculators change in a topic you used; a site-wide newsletter opt-in in the footer; advertising inquiries. These are occasional notes, not a weekly sequence

Data Retention

Emails submitted through a calculator, and advertising inquiries (company name, website, email, optional WhatsApp, optional message), are retained until you ask us to delete them, or until they are no longer needed for the purpose collected. Browser storage remains until you clear it. Ad and analytics retention follows those providers' policies.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to object to certain processing. Email [email protected] to make a request.
